What’s Next For Nextrusion
Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) represent the core technology that will power the next generation of seafood production. With ocean harvests plateauing, aquaculture will supply future seafood demand and RAS will play a leading role. Land-based, egg-to-harvest, Atlantic salmon facilities are already in full production in Europe and will soon have a larger presence in US aquaculture production. Nextrusion’s feed formulations are capable of sustainably supporting land based and open water aquaculture enterprises.

Nextrusion knows that RAS operations have unique needs and we will ensure those needs are met. RAS aqua feeds must be made with particular precision and tailored characteristics. Our operators, equipment and software can deliver to the most exacting standards. This is true for both fish performance and the biological filter systems that sustain the water quality.
LOCATION
Products start with ingredients and ingredients begin with location. The Nextrusion facility is sited in a perfect location for a full-line feed extrusion company, located near the intersection of major east-west and north-south interstates. Frequently used, high quality ingredients including corn, soybeans and canola are grown nearby. This means feed products will be made with the freshest ingredients and delivered quickly and cost-effectively.
